Youngbin Shin is ARB/RIBA Registered Architect holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practical Part 3, an M.Arch and a B.Arch from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. She worked on various projects with various RIBA stages experiences in Foster + Partners from January 2021 - June 2023, and Amanda Levete Architects. She gives lectures and tutorials as a workshop tutor at the Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge, is invited to lecture at Columbia GSAPP M.S. AAD and as a Special lecturer at Central Saint Martins School of Architecture, a guest crit for the Architectural Association School of Architecture, the University of Westminster and CSM School of Architecture.

Her projects are based on exploring a variety of architectural materials and construction methods and their adaptation to building design to create a new lifestyle and spatial experience. Designing with Lightweight and Pre-engineered materials to emphasise the ‘Simplicity’ and ‘Mobility’ of its assembly and dismantling in the city, and to minimize the carbon impact of construction.  She did a number of collaborations for exhibitions and publications and one of her works is featured in Lisbon Architecture Triennale 2022
